SCENE 1 - You arrive home from your highly successful music tour and find among the huge stack of fan mail your annual payment from the Film Musicians Secondary Markets Fund. (Yes! My favorite kind of mail – Money!) - (applause!)

SCENE 2 - (at the bank) As you attempt to deposit your check your banker informs you that the check is stale-dated (past the 90-day limit) and cannot be cashed and you will have to pay a fee. (Oh, man! I wanted to buy a new amplifier today.) Then you write us a nice letter explaining the situation and enclose the stale-dated check and we gladly reissue a new one for you. – (sigh…)

SCENE 3 - (the new scenario) Simply call our office to request a Direct Deposit Form and return it to the Fund, or sign up for the Private Area of our website. Either way, your annual payment will be deposited into your designated bank account. (Hurray! Let’s go shopping for that new amplifier!) – (cash register rings!)

The End - Write your own ending - Choose Scene 2 or Scene 3 - If you choose Scene 3 it will be a happy ending, life will be simpler and you will have more time to do what you love most – make music! - (happy ending music plays)
